Cosmetics without endocrine disruptors

In an era of natural and organic cosmetics, controversial substances are still prevalent in hygiene and beauty products. Endocrine disruptors (EDs) are chemical substances capable of interfering with the normal functioning of the human endocrine system (hormonal system) and can also damage the environment. They can have harmful consequences for the body: reproductive disorders, immune system dysfunction, thyroid disease, and more.

It is common to find chemical components such as parabens (butylparaben, ethylparaben, etc.), phthalates (diethyl phthalate, etc.), and glycol ethers, the most well-known of which is phenoxyethanol, listed on the packaging of some cosmetic products. These are all considered endocrine disruptors; in fact, the use of some of them is already prohibited under French law.
